The Dole Institute is focused on providing opportunities for University of Kansas and regional college faculty to be involved in program events, supplements to their lesson plans through educational offerings and access to primary source research materials for them and their students. Additionally, faculty engagement at the Dole Institute may include networking with incoming guest speakers, Dole Fellows, community members, academic professionals, outstanding students and staff.
Recently, the Dole Institute has been a part of the curricula of KU’s Office of First Year Experience University 101 seminars, the KU Museum Studies program, History 301, and the KU Undergraduate Honors Program freshman seminars. We’ve worked with KU School of Engineering on the Dole Institute’s Innovations Series, supported the Women’s Leadership Institute and played host to many other faculty and/or student -related programs, workshops and conferences.
