Spring student award applications now open

Applications are now open for spring 2019 student awards from the Dole Institute of Politics! Read on to find eligibility criteria and application details.

The Dole Internship Assistance Program provides financial assistance to KU students in the pursuit of their careers in public service, politics, museum/archival studies or related fields. This program provides awards of up to $2,250 in support of the financial expenses related to an internship. Applications are due by April 1, 2019 at 5 p.m. Learn more here.

The Robert E. Hemenway Public Service Award is a $1,000 award given to a junior KU student who has demonstrated a commitment to making a difference for their fellow students and furthers the idea of service on campus and in the community. Applications are due by April 3, 2019 at 4 p.m. Learn more here.

The Robert J. Dole Service to Country Award is a $1,000 award given to a KU student who is an active member of the Dole Institute’s Student Advisory Board (SAB). The recipient shall be committed to public service and have demonstrated leadership, with preference given to SAB members who have a record of military service. Applications are due by April 1, 2019 at 5 p.m. Learn more here.
