Lynn Sherr spoke Wednesday evening at Kansas University’s Dole Institute of Politics.. Her visit was in conjunction with the Lawrence Public Library’s Read Across Lawrence program, which has a space theme this year.
The Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas released the remainder of its programming for the spring 2016 semester in February. Programs stretching from March through May will include former National Security Adviser Don Gregg, congressmen Martin Frost and Tom Davis, CNN contributor Alex Castellanos and former Truman Library Director Mike Devine.
The Dole Institute will display letters written between legendary KU basketball coach Phog Allen and Senator Bob Dole this spring.
The Dole Institute announced its lineup of programming for the first half of the 2016 spring semester, highlighted by the Presidential Lecture Series featuring Richard Norton Smith.
Moore will join the Dole Institute for a program discussing leadership, success and how he helped create a culture that led to the 2015 World Series crown.
