Travis is always excited to offer any of the Dole Institute’s dynamic education programs such as in-person tours and workshops, virtual classes, and classroom outreach to K-12 schools, scout troops, families, and other community groups.

With over 20 years of combined experience in education, administration, and law, Travis has a proven record of excellence in civics and humanities education. Professional awards include: “Teacher of the Year” at the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary level, as well as at local, state, and national recognition by such organizations as Kids Voting, Kansas History Day, and the Bill of Rights Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of North Texas and a Juris Doctor from Washburn School of Law.

When not working or volunteering, Travis enjoys spending time with family and friends and visiting other museums, historical sites, and libraries across Kansas and the United States.
