Discover with Dole: Celebrating Kansas Day

Event Category:

January 24 - February 2

Celebrate Kansas Day all week long at the Dole Institute! Join us Friday, January 24 through Sunday, February 2 for a Kansas Day-themed Discover with Dole. Learn about Kansas by making your own special Kansas postcard using historical examples from the Dole Archives, playing Tic-Tac-Dole, signing a special birthday card for Kansas, and exploring the state seal and other Kansas symbols with coloring and crafts.

Plus, join us for a virtual field trip during the Kansas Day Virtual Field Trip Edventure on January 29. Virtual sessions for grades K-8 are designed to help students learn more about history, English/language arts, STEM, fine arts, and careers through the lens of Kansas. Visit the 2025 Kansas Day Edventure website to learn more.

Discover with Dole is the Dole Institute’s interactive, kid-friendly themed program in the museum. All programs and events at the Dole Institute are free and open to the public.
