In light of Senator Bob Dole’s announcement today that he has been diagnosed with lung cancer, Dole Institute Director Bill Lacy has shared the following statement.
“I spoke with Sen. Bob Dole yesterday about his diagnosis. Sen. Dole has faced much adversity in his life and is the toughest and most optimistic person I have ever had the honor of knowing. I am sure he will face this with enormous strength, dignity, and the love of his many millions of friends and supporters. As he faces this new challenge, we ask that you keep the Senator in your prayers and thoughts.”
