Honor a veteran today

The Brick by Brick Campaign

The Brick by Brick Campaign at the Dole Institute celebrates the lasting legacy of Senator Bob Dole by honoring his commitment to memorialize The Greatest Generation—the World War II generation. When you place a commemorative brick paver along the main entryway to the Dole Institute, you join us in honoring Senator Dole's commitment to honor our country's service men and women.

8" x 4" Brick Paver

Price: $250-310

Each brick paver placed at the Dole Institute measures 8″ x 4″ and allows up to three lines of text at 14 characters per line—including spaces and punctuation. If you require more than 14 characters, you can pay an additional $60 to place up to 18 characters on each line. Bricks cannot accommodate additional engraved symbols or logos.

Order Process

First, complete your online order. Once you fill out the required information, you’ll be directed to the KU Endowment Association’s payment portal where you can pay your required fee for your brick. Your order will be considered incomplete until your payment is received and recorded by KUEA and the Dole Institute.

If there are any issues with your order, a member of our staff will contact you for further clarification. Likewise, if you have any questions, contact us at doleinstitute@ku.edu.

Once your order is confirmed, we’ll work with our vendors to produce your custom brick and have it installed at the Institute. Be aware this process can take up to 10-12 weeks, potentially more, depending on workloads with our vendors.

Finally, once your brick is installed, you’ll receive an email from the Dole Institute confirming your brick has been installed and its location on the Institute’s main entryway.
