Membership

If you believe in the importance of community involvement, want to cultivate your leadership skills, and make like-minded friends, this is the organization for you! The Student Advisory Board is open to all current KU students at no cost, and you are welcome to join at any point in the school year.

Stay Connected
There are many ways for you to stay connected to the Student Advisory Board while at KU. Be sure to follow us on all of the channels below!

Meetings
The SAB regularly holds meetings throughout the academic year. Here, you can find information on all of our upcoming meetings. All meetings take place at the Dole Institute of Politics (2350 Petefish Drive) unless otherwise stated.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. — Election Night Watch Party
  • Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m.

Volunteer Opportunities
As an active SAB member, you are expected to volunteer for at least one program during the semester. Volunteers help greet guests, field audience question-and-answer sessions, and deliver the signature student welcome at the top of our programs. To serve as a volunteer at our programs, please sign up using this spreadsheet in one of the open slots.

The Dole Institute is committed to universal accessibility in all programs and resources. We are in the process of making all of our web projects fully accessible.
